Birthday Cake Censored A British mother who wanted to surprise her son with a personalized birthday cake for his 21st birthday got more than she bargained for. Gail Jordan planned to surprise her son, David, with a cake that had a photo of him at 5-months-old, naked and lying on his stomach, printed onto the cake. To her surprise, the local Asda supermarket censored the cake because of the nudity, saying "no nudity" was company policy and the photo could be deemed pornographic. A store clerk got some paper and scissors, and cut out a star and placed it on the son's bottom, much to Jordan's dismay.Read more 
Online Gamers Do It In The Nude Microsoft recently commissioned a poll about online gaming, asking Canadian respondents if they have ever played a computer game in public, at work, in the bathroom, in the bedroom, or in the nude. The results of the Ipsos Reid poll of over a thousand adult Canadians revealed that one in five Canadian men have played a computer game in the nude (17%), while 9% of women surveyed have done so. Out of younger adults, aged 18-34, 23% have played a computer game while nude. Read more Ethiopia Bans First Nude Photo Exhibit A planned exhibit billed as Ethiopia's first nude photography exhibition has been banned. The fine art exhibit, titled "Black Diamonds," contains 45 photos that contain partial nudity. According to photographer Biniam Mengesha, the Culture Ministry asked him to submit photos of his work before the exhibition but later decided it was pornography. Mengesha is trying to arrange a showing elsewhere in Africa. Read more UK TV Airs "The Great British Body" A three-part British TV show, titled "The Great British Body," is based on inviting ordinary British citizens to be interviewed about how they feel about their bodies. People of all ages, sizes, color, degree of fitness, etc., were interviewed for the show. Each of the three shows had a different theme and participants were asked how they felt about their bodies at the beginning of the show and again at the end, which culminated in 250 participants taking off their clothes in a field.
